Statue in the park of Szarvassy Castle

The statue in the park of the Szarvassy Castle depicts a peasant woman washing and dousing her child with water. The statue was made by Szarvassy's niece, Lili Kuzmik, and her Dutch-born sculptor husband. It was originally a fountain, around which a circular, raised pool was built. By the 1990s, the pool part had fallen into disrepair, so the students of the Karvai Vocational High School tried to renovate it under the guidance of the school's teachers.
