Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Chapel
Building, structure
The chapel built in honor of the Immaculate Conception can be seen in the courtyard of house number 10, which was built in 1908-1909 in the then undeveloped part of the village by the Ignác Bugyi family. It is a small single-nave building with a closure and a small tower made of stone and brick built above the gabled facade, which is covered with a pyramidal roof. The facades of the building are divided by pilasters, as well as framed windows ending in a semicircular arch, with three foundation stones. Under the main facade ending in a brick triangular gable, there is the main entrance of the chapel with a circular section closure and three foundation stones. The interior of the chapel is covered with a barrel vault, the dome of the sanctuary is polygonal. The high altar dates from the period when the chapel was built, with an altarpiece depicting the Immaculate Conception in the center. The chapel is also decorated with statues of the Madonna and Jesus Christ.
