Roman Catholic chapel dedicated to Saint Wendelin
Building, structure
The Roman Catholic chapel dedicated to Saint Wendel was consecrated in 2004. There was a Catholic chapel in the village until the mid-19th century, but only the statue of Saint Wendel has survived. The chapel was built by István Katona with his own funds. Its walls are decorated with works depicting the 14 stations by the painter Győző Somogyi. The paving in front of the thatched-roof building forms a map of Greater Hungary, and the roof made of bent beams forms Noah's ark.
