Statue of Saint Wendel

The statue of Saint Wendel, located in the so-called Alvég, was erected in 1928 by Vendel of Moravia for the glory of God. He obviously saw Saint Wendel as his own patron saint. At the feet of the saint lie a lamb and a calf. The statue was renovated in 1957 by Vendel of Moravia and his second wife, Szlatyina Hermina. It was last restored in 2008. ; They also stopped here and prayed on the days of the Crusades.
