Next to the Catholic church is the statue of St. Vendel, which was erected at the beginning of the 20th century so that the animals of the village people would not be "afflicted by destruction or disease". The colored sandstone statue stands on a high pedestal with a zinc cover on top. Vendel has a black hat, brown robe, blue cloak and brown boots. His props are a shepherd's staff, and at his feet is a lamb.
