St. Michael the Archangel Parish Church
Building, structure
The Roman Catholic church of the village was built in 1734 in the Baroque style, but its tower was only added in 1842. ; The first parish priest of the church was Ádám Vörös. On the left side of the churchyard stands a statue of Saint John of Nepomuk (1880), on the right side a stone cross (1771). There was also a small chapel in the village built in honor of Saint Orbán. It was built by János Darázs in 1826. The chapel collapsed during the fighting in 1945. The memorial plaque made of marble from Süttő was saved by the family of Orbán Matus and is kept in their cellar. The chapel was not rebuilt, but it is shown on official maps. ; According to the papal tithe lists, the village had a church in the 14th century, which belonged to the Hont archdeaconry and was dedicated to Saint Michael. In 1332, the papal tithe register already mentions the church of St. Michael.
