Monument to the Saint Ladislaus Division
Statue, monument, memorial plaque
The monument was inaugurated on June 28, 2014, in memory of the heroic dead of the Saint Ladislaus Division, which was erected by the Pázmáneum Civic Association and the Historical Order of Saint George in honor of the soldiers of the Saint Ladislaus Division who died a heroic death in Helemba and its surroundings in December 1944. ; Before the inauguration of the memorial plaque placed in the garden of the local Saint Imre Roman Catholic Church, a mass was held, which was celebrated by the priest Dr. Zsolt Farkas together with Father László Sztyahula and Father Janos Karaffa. Members of the Szolnok-based Saint Ladislaus Division Honvéd Tradition Preservation Association stood guard of honor in front of the church. ; The inscription on marble fixed to the white rock proclaims the heroism of the soldiers of the Saint Ladislaus Division and that: "There is no future without a past." It is also a testament to the fact that the people of Helemba do not forget them, and that they did not give their blood for this land in vain.
