St. Joseph's Franciscan Church and Monastery
Building, structure
The church construction, begun by Count Ferenc Nádasdy, was completed in 1691 by Bishop Jakab Haskó of Nitra. It is a single-nave, barrel-vaulted Baroque building, with side altars on both sides in the spaces between the pillars. The main altar with columns and saints in white robes dates from the 17th century.
