The church builder, Ferenc Szentiványi, is buried in the family crypt under the sacristy of the church. ; Ferencz Szent-Iványi, born on July 6, 1731, died in Varbón on April 17, 1823. He was the first vice-governor of Nógrád County, then by His Majesty the King's Court of Justice, later the chancellor, chief chamberlain, and later a judge of the country. ; Rosália Tónyi, the wife of the late noble János Szentiványi, and her granddaughter Mária Szent-Iványi (born on September 7, 1813, died on March 2, 1898) are buried here.
