St. Stephen's Church in Tardoskedd
Building, structure
The most significant building of the village. It was built in 1707 on the site of the old church and rebuilt in 1725, when it acquired its current form. The main building has a single nave, to which a side altar belongs. The interior of the church is decorated with frescoes by Master Jakobey, which were made in 1881. The two altar paintings were made in 1996 and praise the work of P. Stach. A valuable monument is the wooden relief depicting the Virgin Mary with the inscription ROMA 1532 in the church. This relief previously decorated the Rákóczi monument.
