Saint Stephen statue

In the main square of the village today, in a small park opposite the church, stands the statue of Saint Stephen. It was created by young Hungarian sculptor Sándor Krisztiáni in 2001. The yellowish statue is a standing figure of Saint Stephen. He is seated in a circle with the king's feet, and holds a long double cross in his left hand. On his head is the Holy Crown, and on the front of his mantle is also a double cross.
