Statue of King St. Stephen
Statue, monument, memorial plaque
The statue was erected in Szent István Street on the occasion of the 1000th anniversary of the formation of the Hungarian state by the Csemadok Nagymegyer Organization. The creator of the statue was Ferenc Király, a Hungarian sculptor from Lendava (Muravidék, Slovenia). Its ceremonial unveiling took place on August 20, 2000.
