St. Florian's Church
Building, structure
Between 1849 and 1851, the neo-Romanesque Roman Catholic Church of St. Florian was built on the main square of the village with the support of Bishop Mihály Fekete. The painting depicting St. Florian in the church and the classicist baptismal font, above which a pieta statue can be seen, date back to the 1800s. The church also contains: a statue of the Heart of Jesus, a statue of the Virgin Mary, a statue of St. Alajos, and in the gallery there are statues of St. Theresa and St. Imre. The paintings of St. Paul, St. Catherine and St. Dominic date back to the first half of the 19th century. The painting of the 14 stations of the Way of the Cross dates back to the beginning of the 20th century. The church was last renovated in 2001.
