Statue of Saint Florian
Sacral small monument
St. Florian is the patron saint of firefighters and those who work with fire. Throughout the history of the village, the residents have suffered from more than one devastating fire. So it is no wonder that a statue was erected in honor of St. Florian (which today stands next to the fire station). On St. Florian's Day, they would go to the statue, led by the priest, and pray and sing, asking for his blessing and protection.
