Large ceiling statue of Saint Florian

In 1873, during the threshing season, a large fire destroyed a quarter of the village. Ferenc Mikóczi and his wife had a statue of St. Florian erected in gratitude for their escape from the fire. The statue, which was broken in a car accident in 1978, was renovated at the expense of the village and rededicated in its original place on May 1, 2002.
