Statue of Saint Anne in Fülek

On Koháry Square, opposite the main entrance of the Roman Catholic church dedicated to the Assumption of the Virgin Mary, stands the statue of Saint Anne, which commemorates the mother of the Virgin Mary, Saint Anne, and has been one of the most visited places of worship in the city since its installation in 1907. Next to the statue originally stood a small belfry, which originally also had a soul bell. This is now housed in the neighboring monastery.
