Statue, monument, memorial plaque

A memorial plaque is embedded in the wall of the building to the right of the church entrance. The black marble plaque on the facade was erected by Péter Dobos, a local scholar and monk. The black plaque is bilingual. It was first put up in 1984, but was taken down by the management at the time. Péter Dobos had it restored at his own risk, and it has been visible again since 1985.

IN 1784, FÁBIÁN SEDER WAS BORN IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF / CSÁB, HONT COUNTY. / SCIENTIFIC TEACHER, HUNGARIAN WRITER / BENEDICTINE MONK / FIRST RESEARCHER OF THE PALÓC COUNTY / DIED IN 1859 / THIS MEMORIAL PLAQUE WAS ESTABLISHED IN 1984 AS A SIGN OF RESPECT FOR OUR ANCESTORS OF PALÓC.
