Holy Family iconostasis with niche in Szapi
Sacral small monument
A special form of sacral monuments is the image column with a niche, in the upper third of which there is a recess with a plaster statue of a saint. The image columns were made of stone or brick. The Szapi image column was made in 1914, the year of the outbreak of World War I. The Holy Family was placed in the upper niche by the creators whose names are unknown. The image column was made by József Koller and Klára Mise.
