Sebők (Sternfeld) Zsigmond (Párkány, September 22, 1861 – Budapest, June 4, 1916) was a writer, newspaper columnist, and a classic of Hungarian children's literature. He created the unforgettable characters of Dörmögő Dömötör, Zebulon and Dorka, Róka Miska, and Malac Misi. The life of the Great Plain and the world of farms made a deep impression on him, the influence of which can also be seen in his literary work. He published more than 30 children's books. His most successful works are Mackótörténetek (later Dörmögő Dömötör).
