SANCTUARY AND CHORUS ; Built in the first decade of the 14th century. Star-vaulted Gothic. Its Gothic furnishings were destroyed during the Wars of Religion. Renaissance furnishings from the 18th century. The Gothic pastophorium of the side aisle (a separate sanctuary on the side of the Gospel) from 1518. Frescoes Frühlich copies. - The Bakács church used as a sacristy from 1517, with late Gothic star-shaped ribs. - Its Gothic choir is of later origin. - In the chapel of St. Néti, the complete relic of the martyr St. Néti from the Callistic Catacomb. A new altar was built in 1937 - On the altar of the Heart of Jesus, the Carrara marble statue was made from a fragment of the Fadrusz-style Maria Theresa monument destroyed in Bratislava.
