Ferenc Rónay (1808 Liptóújvár – 1881 Selmecbánya) was a mining engineer. After studying in Selmecbánya, he worked at various mining operations in the area as a mine surveyor, mine official, mine inspector, and mining advisor. His articles were published in Hungarian and German journals. He was a mining advisor from January 1, 1874. ; he died in Selmecbánya at the age of 73.
