Slovakia's second Roma Holocaust memorial was inaugurated in 2006, with a grand ceremony. The work, which is set up along the section of Fő Street towards Komárom, imitates a stone wall with a barred window and a crouching Roma figure within the walls. It was created at the initiative of the city's Institute of Roma Studies.
