Mihály Restály (Nagyszarva, Bratislava County, March 31, 1915 - Nádszeg, 1987): parish priest. - June 23, 1940: ordained priest, in Bajnán, 1941: in Udvard, 1943. II-X, 1949: chaplain in Komárom. II-VI, 1949. 22: interrogated at the Bratislava police station. He was accused of providing Archbishop József Mindszenty with information about the oppression of the Hungarians who were deprived of all rights in Czechoslovakia. He was released, but on December 28, 1949: sentenced to 6 years in prison for conspiracy in the “Mindszenty Trial” in Bratislava, which he served in the Bratislava and Lipótvár prisons, the Horni Slakov uranium mine, the Svatopluk and Znojmo prisons. According to the main defendant in his trial and fellow prisoner, Gyula Mészáros, he was released first. He was a parish priest in Galánta, then in Nádszeg until his death. ; The Nádszeg parish commemorated the 70th anniversary of Mihály Restály's ordination as a priest with a memorial plaque in 2010. The plaque was placed in the windbreak of the main entrance of the church.
