Old cemetery

The graves can be dated to the time before the church was built, but there are also finds from the Baroque period (17th century). There are also graves under the walls of the church. Thus, it can be assumed that there was a cemetery on the hill before the church was built, and the depths of the earth also hide Avar-era or even older relics here. There is also a cemetery to the south of the church. ... Today, the wooden graves have rotted away... in the old cemetery, only the grave markers of the more distinguished citizens and nobles have survived... we also find Lutheran graves among them... most of the gravestones have survived from the 19th century... At that time, there was also a cemetery in the village, and the dead were probably placed here because of their family members who had died earlier. Among the old nobles of Csalomov, the deceased members of the Bulgár family are the most numerous. They are probably buried in a family tomb.
