Reformed Church in Gellert

The Reformed church was built in 1786 in the classicist style based on the decree of tolerance of Joseph II. The church was built together by Alsógellér, Felsőgellér and Bogya. It acquired its current form in 1841, and its pulpit was made in the first half of the 19th century. In 2006, a memorial column was erected in the churchyard in honor of pastor Lajos Gulyás (1918-1957), who began his pastoral service here in 1942. ; The names of the villages that built the church, Alsógellér, Felsőgellér and Bogya, can be read on the wall of the Reformed church.
