Reformed Pastoral Office (former State Teacher Training College)
Building, structure
The current building of the Léva Reformed Pastoral Office was built in 1873. It served as a teacher training school until 1911. At that time, the Léva congregation purchased it from the government of the Kingdom of Hungary, and after renovating it, it was used for congregational and school purposes. It was handed over on May 8, 1912, at which Count István Tisza, the chief guardian of the Transdanubian church district, was present. ; It was nationalized in 1945, the local Reformed six-class elementary school ceased to operate, and the Reformed kindergarten was also closed. In the second half of the 1990s, the congregation regained the building, in which the Léva auxiliary school operated before and after the change of regime, through litigation. ; The parish founded a high school in 2000, and its headquarters was the pastor's office until 2015. The building houses the pastor's office of the Reformed Church of Léva and the dean's office of the diocese of Bars. Since 2015, it has been the location of the Károli Gáspár Reformed University's BTK mental health adult training. In addition, the local scout group named after Kálmán Kittenberger has also received an office here, where they hold their team-building events.
