Rákóczi War of Independence Monument

The Roman Catholic Church and the old cemetery are located in the immediate vicinity. Ferenc II. Rákóczi and Vak Bottyán stayed for a short time in the Nedeczky mansion near the church. The village was a strong base for the Kurucs. In 1705, General Miklós Bercsényi guarded the Danube crossing on the fortified rampart.
