He was born on January 30, 1870 in Rábakövesd. At first, his father taught him, then he studied in Rábabogyoszló, Alsószelesté, and Sopron, where he also graduated in theology. Then he went abroad and enrolled in the University of Halle in October 1892. On October 1, 1893, he was called to Kőszeg as an assistant pastor. Here he became a second pastor in the fall of 1897, and first pastor in September 1903. From there, he was taken to Bratislava as a pastor, the Bratislava congregation unanimously elected him as their pastor, and he took up his new office on September 24, 1905, where he held the position of chief notary in the Dunáninnen church district until 1919. In 1934, the University of Pécs made him an honorary doctor of theology. ; ; He is buried in the cemetery of Károly Grüneberg and his family. His name is written on a separate small plaque.
