The grave of Lajos Presinszky

Lajos Presinszky (Nagycétény, December 10, 1939 – April 3, 2010) was a writer, local historian, teacher, head of the Somorjai Honismereti Ház, and one of the founders of the Somorjai Bibliotheca Hungarica. ; ; He completed primary school in his native village and secondary school in Párkány. He graduated in 1957, and in 1960 he obtained a teaching certificate in geography and history from the Hungarian department of the Higher Pedagogical School in Bratislava. He first taught in Nagycétény, then in Nagylég and Nagyszarvá, and in the latter place he also served as a school principal. ; Between 1967 and 1984 he worked in the Dunaszerdahely district committee of the Slovak Communist Party, and then as an independent party chairman. Between 1986 and 1988, he was the head of the cultural department of the Dunaszerdahely District National Committee. From 1988, he was the head of the Somorja Homeland Knowledge House. Until 1990, he was the director of the Marxist-Leninist University of Dunaszerdahely. In his youth, he was a member of the Nagycétény CsISz, and later one of the organizing members of the Somorja Csemadok basic organization. ; He primarily dealt with local history and peasant-folk traditions. ; ; Works: ; 1993 Chapters from the history of Tejfalu.
