Tomb of Viktor Poznan, shoemaker from Nagybalog (Balogvölgy)
Cemeteries, tombstones, graves
There were four shoemakers working in Nagybalog at the same time. At that time, people were more likely to have their shoes repaired, and if they were bad, they only bought them when they were really needed. Of course, they also took on other work besides shoe repair. So the shoemakers had so much work that all four of them made a living from their craft. Viktor Poznán (1907-1996) worked until his death. His father was a master stove maker. Their original name was Pokorny, later changed to Poznán.
