Cemeteries, tombstones, graves
Nt. Lajos Pósa was born in Nemesradnót on November 18, 1865. The construction of the new Reformed church of the village began in 1875 during the time of pastor Dániel Pethő, who was followed by pastor Lajos Pósa, whose selfless work allowed the construction to be completed. In 1895, he added the tower to the church with the architect Lajos Varga, and on November 10, 1895, the church and the bell were consecrated. ; On September 4, 1901, Antal Pósa buried his widow Mária Kovács, the beloved mother of poet and editor Lajos Pósa, in such a heartfelt way that the poet immortalized it in his poem "May God bless the priest of Radnót!" ; Lajos Pósa was the caring pastor of the Nemesradnót church for 50 years, and was also a diocesan and parish council judge. In his last years, he went to live with his daughter and his son-in-law, Bertalan Kovács, also a pastor, in Simonyi. He died on August 3, 1958, and is buried there. His tombstone was destroyed in a windstorm in the cemetery. In 2014, at the Rimaszombat conference organized in memory of the poet and editor Lajos Pósa, Valéria Sebők, the main organizer of the event, announced a collection to renovate the grave of the former Nemesradnót pastor, who also worked hard to preserve the memory of the poet Lajos Pósa (1850-1914). The collection was followed by actions, and the Simonyi Reformed Church renovated the tombstone, which was unveiled by pastor László Gál and caretaker Árpád Bolyán.
