Building, structure
The Evangelical congregation in Poprad was established around 1545, but their wooden church could only be built in 1760. ; The foundation stone of the present church was laid in 1829 by András Fabriczy (Pazdics, August 20, 1751 - Poprad, January 23, 1830), who was the pastor of the Poprad congregation for 41 years (his tombstone is kept in the church). ; The building was built in the classicist style according to the plans of the county chief engineer János Fabriczy (Poprad, May 13, 1800 - Levoca, May 13, 1865 - son of András Fabriczy) between 1829 and 1834. The church was consecrated on June 24, 1835, on the feast of the Holy Trinity.
