The Popellár family name is still known in Kőkeszi today, as the family mansion stood on the road leading to the lower cemetery in the settlement, where a community center operated in the 1950s and 1960s. On the literary stage, the children delighted the population of Kőkeszi with numerous plays. There was also a Popellár well in the settlement, which was later used as a public well.
