Petőfi Monument

Statue, monument, memorial plaque

The monument is a portrait of Petőfi placed on a pedestal, fixed in a slanting natural stone, with a text engraved on a black marble slab below: “Through fire and water with the people!” Tribute to the memory of Sándor Petőfi. The population of Nyárasd, the municipality, the local organization of Csemadok, 19 March 1995.
