Evangelical Church of Perješe
Building, structure
The Hungarian village of medieval origin, which was probably settled in the Árpád period, is first mentioned in surviving written sources in the 14th century. ; The west-east-axis, single-nave, gable-roofed Evangelical church was built in 1838-48 on the site of an older wooden church, in the classicist style. Its ground plan is rectangular, with a segmental end in the west. The thick tower built on the eastern facade of the church is divided by pilasters and is covered by a baroque-style spire.
