Here rests / in the hope of a happy resurrection / Blessed in God / Hungarian folk poet László Pém / 1877 † 1946 / and his wife / Mária Zsidek 1881 † 1945 / You who rest in the / Cemetery land / Have already settled / With death once and for all. / Oh you terrible death / Why are you so cruel? / There was no mercy before you / And never will be / You mortal soul / Do not grumble about this / Be at peace, man / With heavenly fate! / We rest here now / In the soft lap of our grave / Our memory lives on / ; In the hearts of our sons. / May our blessed parents be in peace / In the name of God Jesus and Mary. / Blessings and peace upon your dust.
