Pallay Miklós Hybben was born in Liptó County on November 26, 1868. He earned a degree in theology. He was ordained a priest by István Pribék, auxiliary bishop of Veszprém, on September 10, 1894. He continued his studies at the Augustineum in Vienna on April 22, 1893, and then at the Hungarian Historical Institute in Rome. He was a bishop's attendant and librarian from 1895. He became a camp chaplain from 1900. He was awarded the 2nd class Military Cross of Merit and retired to Érsekújvár in 1915. He died on December 10, 1948.
