Mihály Pájer (Pereszteg, Sopron vm., 14 Jan. 1821-Bratislava, 30 Mar. 1905): parish priest. - He studied at the Sopron gymnasium and the Győr academy, entered the Győr priestly students from the 8th grade, was ill for a long time, 15 Jan. 1844: ordained a priest, chaplain for 8 years, in Loretto in Nemesvölgy, 1867-1900: parish priest in Szentmargita (Sopron vm.) until his retirement. He had the burned-down parish building rebuilt with public donations. He collected a library of Hungarian, German, French, Italian, Latin and Greek works. 1900-05: He lived peacefully in Bratislava. He is a Middle Crusader of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem, a Roman Pontifical Knight, and an honorary member of the Society of Saint Stephen. His pseudonyms: Pál Bortavy, Margiti. His poetry collection entitled Bouquet of Flowers was published in Budapest in 1900. ; Mihály Pájer's grave can be seen in Sector V./1 of the Saint Andrew's Cemetery.
