The legacy of our ancestors
Country house, craft house
The Jakab family acquired the building and its garden in 1935. During World War II, the building was used not only by the family, but also by German and Russian troops, as it was strategically located. Most of the surviving objects on display were the property of the family, but friends, colleagues and neighbours also help to expand the collection, seeing the Jakab family's passion and enthusiasm for passing on the values of the past to the present.
