Madonna statue with dress-up
Statue, monument, memorial plaque
It stands on the left side altar of the Kelenye church. It is made in the Rococo style, carved from wood. ; On the main church holidays, it is dressed in the colors appropriate for that holiday: white at Easter, burgundy at Pentecost, gold at Christmas, purple during Advent and Lent, and light blue during the rest of the year. The statue has a crown and white tulle on its head, and a scepter in its hand. The child Jesus, held in the other hand, also has a crown on his head. It is taken out of the church as a form of farewell, and a day of prayer is held on the 13th of every month, the day of the Fatima apparitions.
