Cemeteries, tombstones, graves
Vilmos Ocsovszky (1828-1895) was a lieutenant of the 48th Hussars, the city police captain and then mayor of Selmecbánya, the president of the Szittnya Department of the MKE (Hungarian Carpathian Association), and a knight of the Order of Francis Joseph. ; The grave, once densely overgrown with weeds and lilac bushes, is cleaned every year (similarly to the other Selmec military graves) by the students of the historical and local history camp. The beautiful, obelisk-like stone in the upper part of the cemetery, protected by an iron fence, is decorated with a bust of Vilmos Ocsovszky surrounded by the mayor's chain. The inscription on the sandstone plaque reads: "Ocsovai Ocsovszky Vilmos Selmecz Bélabánya, royal mayor of mining towns. 48/49, lieutenant of the Hungarian army hussar, royal councilor and knight of the Order of Franz Joseph. 1828–1895" The grave is numbered 466 in the local register.
