LAJOS NOSZ of Igló was born on October 23, 1862. He completed his secondary schooling in his town and then in Miskolc, and obtained his pharmacy diploma in Budapest in 1886. After one year of voluntary military service, he took over the management of the Frenda pharmacy in Szomolno, becoming part of the family (his wife was FRENDA MALVIN). In 1894, he bought the successful GÄRTNER pharmacy, which he managed until his retirement in 1901. He also worked as the treasurer of the Igló branch of the MKE, and also held the position of treasurer of the city's Self-Help Association.
