Sacral small monument
It is well known that Ipolykeszin has a cult of Saint John of Nepomuk. He is the patron saint of the village, the church was dedicated to his honor, he is depicted in the old altarpiece, and he is also present on a new fresco of the House of God. But a significant sacral monument of the settlement is also the statue of Saint John of Nepomuk, which has been standing in the part of the village called Újfalu since 1914. The martyr of the secret of confession is seen in priestly attire: a long white cassock, a white collar on a high concrete pedestal, with an ermine cloak on his shoulders, a black beret on his head, a lily and a crucifix on his arm. Around his neck is a cross on a chain. The statue, standing in the middle of the small square, is surrounded by a metal fence.
