Statue of Saint John of Nepomuk

In the second half of the 19th century, statues depicting patron saints were mainly erected. These were erected to protect the village community from harm, illness and trouble at that time. In 1862, the grateful residents erected a statue of St. John of Nepomuk in memory of the devastating flood. One stands in front of the hospital poorhouse and indicates that the water reached that far during the aforementioned flood.
