The statue of Saint John of Nepomuk from Királyfa, from the workshop of Georg Raphael Donner, was made in the 1830s. ; The work, which was declared a monument in 2009, was restored in 2014 and erected on the site of the former Pálffy Castle, in the present-day churchyard (it previously stood next to the main road). ; Georg Raphael Donner (1693-1741) is a prominent figure in European sculpture and classicizing late Baroque art. ; From 1728, he served Prince-Primate Imre Esterházy of Esztergom in Bratislava for 10 years, but also worked for other Hungarian noble courts (including the Pálffy family). ; His most significant work is the main altar of Saint Martin in Bratislava Cathedral, of which only the statue of Saint Martin and the beggar can be seen in the cathedral, which stands a few meters from the artist's bust.
