Statue of Saint John of Nepomuk
Sacral small monument
The village of Inám has many small sacral monuments. The oldest of them is the statue of St. John of Nepomuk from 1797. The stone statue stands in the lower, southeastern part of the village, near the Nagy-patak stream, on a square, spiral-decorated pedestal. The beautiful work, which came out of the workshop of folk stone carvers, depicts the saint in a priest's shirt. There is no biretta on his head, but it is adorned with a crown made of five six-pointed stars. The saint holds a large crucifix in his right arm, and a lilium (palm branch) in his left hand. It was last renovated in 1982. ; Decades ago, every year, on the eve of the feast of St. John of Nepomuk, the faithful of the village gathered at this statue for a religious gathering.
