Column of Saint John of Nepomuk

“The other image column stands next to the main road in front of Zichy Castle. A painted plaster statue of St. John of Nepomuk was placed in it. This is also a rectangular building, covered with a gable roof. St. John of Nepomuk also had a great cult here, because there was already a statue of the saint in the second church in 1728, and we even know of a red St. John of Nepomuk banner. The parish records also report that a wooden statue of the saint stood at the bridge under the church as early as 1789.” ; The statue was stolen in the early 2010s, and today a painted image can be seen in its place.
