Interior of Nemespanni Church

Building, structure

The Roman Catholic church dedicated to All Saints was built in 1722 in Baroque style. Its main altarpiece was painted in the early 18th century. Its tower may have been raised or repaired later, perhaps in the mid-1810s, but the brick tower was only built in 1847. The church was renovated in 1875-1876 and 1932-33. The former painting deteriorated over time and the 1906 earthquake with its epicenter in Jókő also severely damaged the church. On the latter occasion, a new Rieger organ (no. 2553) was installed, and the sanctuary received new interior painting and stained glass windows by the Nyitra painter Ödön Massányi and Einhoff. Its bells were replaced several times. During the First World War, the large bell was melted down, and then a new bell cast in Érsekújvár in 1924 and the cracked small bell were replaced in 1929 and consecrated. The church was renovated again in 1949 [174], 1965, 1983, 1994 and 2006/2007. ; (The inscription reflects the state on 25 September 1932, currently with a Latin inscription.)
