The central cross of the old part of the Great Cemetery
Sacral small monument
The central cross of the old part of the Great Cemetery, and its single-step column, stands on a concrete pedestal, with a white marble plaque with the following dedication: “Have mercy on Jesus / I believe in the resurrection and / eternal life”. The column head shows a straight-stemmed, body-shaped artificial stone cross. The body is cast iron. Christ looks towards the sky, his hands are held vertically, his feet are next to each other. A wooden cross once stood in the place of the crucifix, which was erected by Péter Szliacky and his wife (Mária Hideg). The wife grew up as an orphan in the village, and for this they erected the sacred monument (Mrs. Pálné Juhász) out of gratitude.
