Large county hall in Levoča

Building, structure

The county hall was built in the Empire style between 1805 and 1831 according to the plans of the architect Antal Povolny. It was the most representative county hall of historical Hungary, and served as the seat of Szepes County until 1922. The building was later used for administrative purposes, and currently houses the district office.
